The Zero Waste Manager Course equips professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to lead their organisations in reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and meeting Singapore’s evolving environmental regulations. Anchored on NEA’s Resource Sustainability Act and Mandatory Waste Reporting requirements, the programme provides a clear understanding of the nation’s waste landscape, regulatory framework, and industry best practices.
Over two intensive days, participants will explore core topics such as waste stream identification, the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) framework, data management and reporting, as well as strategies for stakeholder engagement and change management.
Designed for managers, sustainability officers, facility operators, and operations leaders, this course is both strategic and highly applied. By the end of the programme, participants will be equipped with the tools to not only comply with regulations, but also to drive a culture of sustainability within their organisations – positioning themselves as effective Zero Waste Managers who can align operational excellence with environmental responsibility.

Through a mix of lectures, case studies, hands-on activities, and group activities, participants will learn how to design practical waste reduction plans, track performance using key metrics, and implement sustainable initiatives that deliver measurable results.
This course is ideal for middle managers, facility and property managers, sustainability officers, EHS practitioners, operations leaders, and appointed Zero Waste Managers who are responsible for waste management, recycling initiatives, and compliance with NEA’s Mandatory Waste Reporting requirements.
