Data Protection

Since the implementation of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in 2014, the Personal Data Protection Commission has received over 700 complaints and has fined over 90 organisations in the last 3 years. In 2019, 26 companies have been fined a total of S$1.28 million for breaching the PDPA. The trend of data breaches is likely to increase as customers become more aware of PDPA. Hence, organisations must be more diligent about data protection compliance. Participants will learn how to implement data protection policies and procedures effectively in their organisations.

The training courses can be customised to suit organisational needs.
