A. Employers: SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)

The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) is a $10,000 credit provided by the government to further encourage employers to embark on business transformation and skills development.

Eligible employers will benefit from an additional 90% funding support for their out-of-pocket expenses when they take up initiatives relating to enterprise and workforce transformation. No application is required and eligible employers automatically receive $10,000 in credits!

Step 1 : Visit the SFEC microsite
Login using your CorpPass to view your balance credits.

Step 2 : Search for SSG-funded courses
Find and shortlist eligible courses for your enterprise.

Step 3 : Receive your SFEC claims
IRAS will credit approved SFEC claims to your enterprise on a quarterly basis once employees complete their training.

B. Employers: Course Fee and Absentee Payroll Funding

Enterprise Portal for Jobs and Skills (EPJS) is the one-stop portal for Enterprises to explore information and resources on relevant jobs and skills initiatives under SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).

For courses with course run start date on or after 1 Nov 2020, enterprises will transact using EPJS. Please ensure that accurate business information (SME or non-SME) is reflected for your enterprise.

If your enterprise meets the SME criteria and inaccurate status is accorded, you will need to submit a digital declaration of SME status in EPJS. Kindly refer to the SME Declaration Guide for detailed instructions.

SkillsFuture Credit & PSEA can be used on top of existing government course subsidies to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses.

D. Self-sponsored Individuals: How to use SkillsFuture Credit

SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500. They will also receive a one-off SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $500 that will expire by 31 Dec 2025. Additional one-off SkillsFuture Credit (mid-career support) of $500 is available for Singaporeans aged 40 to 60.

E. SSG Grants Disbursement Criteria

The grants disbursement criteria are:

  • Course fees have been fully paid by respective trainee / employer (where trainee is employer-sponsored);
  • Trainee met 75% attendance requirement;
  • Trainee passed assessments (where applicable);
  • There is employer-employee relationship and CPF contribution for employer-sponsored trainees (not applicable for IBF).

Registration for courses funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) are subjected to further suitability and eligibility checks by both SSG and Service Quality Centre Pte Ltd (SQC). Participants are required to have the ability to speak, listen, read, and write in the course of work using English as the main language of communication. They are expected to have at least a Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Proficiency Level 5 or GCE “N”/“O” Level pass. They are strongly encouraged to achieve 100% attendance per module. Should the participant not meet the minimum eligibility criteria, fulfil attendance criteria, and complete all necessary assessments as required by SSG and SQC, the participant will be deemed as “Not Yet Competent” (NYC) and is liable to pay the full fees for the consumed module(s).

F. WSQ Electronic Certificates (e-Certs) - SOA

The Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) reflects the SSG's Skill Code and Skill Title instead of the training course title, as shown above.

Participants

For Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Foreign Identification Number (FIN) holder: Please click HERE for steps to download WSQ E-Certificates.

For individuals without a SingPass: Please follow the steps below:
1. Click HERE to key in your Passport Number / Foreign ID Number
2. Certificate Type – Select “WSQ Statement of Attainment”
3. Key in Year of Attainment
4. Institution UEN – Key in “199003051G”
5. Verify the font characters on the screen
6. Click “Find Cert”
7. Click “Download”

Employers

Employers are able to verify the authenticity of the e-Certs from potential employees conveniently online HERE.

Admin Fee

SQC provides assistance with the downloading of WSQ E-Certificate at a nominal admin fee. To submit the request for downloading of the E-Certificate, please click HERE. SQC will proceed to download the certificate when the nett amount is received. 

  • Admin Fee per WSQ E-Certificate = S$2.50/certificate + 8% GST = S$2.70
