This course is designed for participants who may be unfamiliar with structured project management approach and are required to lead and manage projects, provide direction and guidance to others, participate as a team member in projects, or apply to day-to-day operations.
Participants are equipped with a proven set of practical approaches, tools and techniques to use in any industry, from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closing the project, to become more effective in their roles.
Participants who fulfil all requirements will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
- Apply the principles of project management

- Identify stakeholders

- Apply techniques to identify risks
- Plan risk responses to manage the risks
- Validate project plans to meet project objectives
- Implement project plans to complete the work defined the project plans

Participants will work in teams to plan and execute simulated projects with techniques and approaches used by professional project managers.
This course is suitable for junior executives, team members / leaders, supervisors, technicians, administrators or roles that require basic project management knowledge and skills to manage and oversee projects.
This course also helps them to:
- Achieve a better understanding of a structured and practical project management approach
- Be an effective team member
- Provide management support and decisions to the project team
- Perform day-to-day operations
- Apply project management as a life skill
