Introduction

In this New Economy, we need to look at changes around us in a positive light. Professor Gary Hamel calls this New Economy the "Age of Revolution" because change itself has changed.

Rising to this challenge, the Passion@Work, a 1 Day programme is specially designed to ignite the inner passion of staff within organizations and use this passion to motivate themselves to make the personal change that is needed for their work. It imparts life skills and inspiration.

The programme also aims to help the individual bring the heart and soul to his/her daily tasks so that his/her work will not become routine, tiring, boring and without energy which may lead to irritability and difficult interpersonal relations. The programme recognizes that the human facet has a synergistic effect when combined with the physical aspect in any quality implementation or organizational review effort.

A structured series of experiential activities and reflections will help participating officers to begin, and to further pursue, their 'passion' journey.

New staff will find this programme helpful in building their confidence while experienced staff will be able to find new ideas to maintain their drive and confidence.
